The controls are a bit hard to get used to. The game is a first person perspective, placing you directly behind the turrets. The first few levels only throw a few barges and soldiers at you, as a sort of tutorial to help you work out the controls. Skill based gameīeach Head 2000 is a skill based game that requires good hand-eye coordination and reflexes in order to advance. If it were realistic, the game would be appalling rather than fun.

There is nothing more to the game than killing an enormous amount of people as efficiently as possible. As terrible as the graphics and sound are, this is probably a good thing. The graphics are pretty cheesy, and the sound doesn’t even work on all computers-you may need to turn your 3D sound acceleration off in order to make this game work. If you need great sound and graphics to enjoy a game, you should skip Beach Head 2000. If you ever played it and loved it, Beach Head 2000 will be right up your alley. The game is based off a much older game called Missile Command. In order to win, you need to defeat them all. The player finds themselves operating a turret on a beach, with waves upon waves of enemies coming up from the shoreline. All in all I think the developers did a great job with this one and Beach Head 2021 is sure to be a winner. The premise behind Beach Head 2000 seems simple at first. The controls are easy to control and you can aim left or right to view the next objective or to shoot.

The game play is quite long and allows you to go around the entire beach head in the game. The gun shooting action is just as good as I have experienced from any other game that uses the technology of today.Īlong with the amazing special effects and the incredible location, the game play is just as great. My son really loves to point and click and I love that, he also gets a kick out of shooting sharks and the like. The landscapes and scenery are well designed with tons of detail. This game play has some fantastic views, the environments are extremely lifelike and have great realistic special effects.

So I guess that is all about the location, and the game involves a lot of that. The real life locations in Beach Head include the famous Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, and the stunning Claddagh Rocks in Scotland. I must say I was very eager to try this out as I am a huge fan of games that are based on the real life locations I visit. It seems there is a new game on the block and it is Beach Head.
